you should be. One bite the back of my neck a while ago and I couldn't turn my head from side to side. I went to the doctor and he said I had a reaction to the bite but it would wear off. It did a few days later

Is there a nasty odor coming from the area of the wound? Is it all oozing? Has anything started to rot and fall off yet? No? Then you will be okay, just cauterize it with a hot poker. :)
