A knockwurst sandwich. I don't seem to find them on the menu anymore. Gotta go to bed, daytripping tomorrow.

A couple of places in town have really good Knockwurst sandwiches. One is River City Diner (I think it's strictly a local chain) and the other is an Irish tavern, O'Toole's. The tavern also makes the meanest Long Island Iced Tea I've ever had.

Oh, wow! I haven't had a knockwurst sandwich in eons!! Used to love them and come to think of it, not even sure I've seen them at the grocers! :-(

I haven't had one in years. My grandparents used to make
their own sausages when I was growing up. I was always
fascinated watching grandma fill the casings with the meat
mixture. It sure looked gross, but the taste when cooked
was delicious. Ah, those good old days LOL.
