the purely thanks to inform once you've strep throat is through a speedy attempt that your well being care specialist can carry out. it truly is taken into consideration needed to to be certain no matter if it truly is strep, because, left untreated, it may change into very extreme. also, it truly is contagious so that you do not favor to bypass away sick. Strep is oftentimes exceptionally painful, so it truly is achieveable, notwithstanding the stuff popping out of your throat sounds more desirable like an hypersensitive reaction by using congestion. you may nevertheless have strep, though. Please get it checked, do not enable it bypass.

You can't avoid it. If she has been on meds for a few days it should be ok. IF not, you have been exposed and there is nothing you can do. I have 3 kids and have been through strep enough to know!

If she is getting over it the chances of you catching it are slime. However to make those chances slimmer take a fever reducing medication and get plenty of sleep. Vitamins will not help and many of the other cold remedy's will not help with a bacteria. But getting extra rest will help.

Uhhh, I know how this feels. You should take vitamin C for your ammune system. It usually takes days for symptoms to show. To be honest the only way to get rid of this would be antibiotics when you test positive not before. Sorry! I heard gargling warm salt water might help.

Um...when your friend drinks out of your drink, don't drink back after her? There aren't any tricks per se, just normal things that are obvious when trying to avoid any sickness. Some people get strep throat real easy, and they get it again and again. My boyfriend and my brother are both like that, but I never get it when I'm around my boyfriend and he has it and we kiss and everything, but I just don't get strep throat. It's just that some people are more susceptible to it.

I would gargle with Listerine and inhale some rubbing alcohol that I rub on my hands. I would get plenty of fluids the next day. And put that glass in the dishwasher right away.

If she has already been on antibiotics for 24 hours or more she shouldn't be contagious anymore. If not antibiotics I would start taking Zicam and Zinc drops, they won't keep you from getting sick but they will help the symptoms and help you to get over it quicker.

No one wants strep throat. If she's getting over it, she probably isn't contagious anymore. Get plenty of rest so you don't get tired which weakens your immume system and try to stay stress-free too.

If you've got it, you've got it, you can't get rid of it. The doctor will give you antibiotic for it if you do have it. I HATE strep throat, I used to get it a lot (I hate how they jab that stick into your throat to get a sample for testing, I gag every time).
