The curse word is b.i.t.c.h. It's the whole sentence. SOMEONE SHOULD WRITE THAT B.I.T.C.H.

Well, that's from my generation, but I don't know that phrase. Where did you hear it? What's the context? That should be able to help us figure it out.

EDIT:
Since, according to ranunculusviridis below me, it is a quote from Donnie Darko (very great movie!) the meaning is all in the context. This is not an 80s phrase, regardless of being said in the 1980s. It just means that someone ought to write to Roberta Sparrow. Remember, she was waiting at the mailbox all the time. So the idea was to actually send her a letter.

Familiar with the 80's but not that phrase. It looks like you have 5 stars. Can't even think of a cuss word that fits, with 5 letters.

Quote from Ronald Fisher (Character)
from Donnie Darko (2001)

Ronald Fisher: "Someone should write that *****."
[referring to Roberta Sparrow]

I've never heard of it either; but the only two meanings that come to mind are (a) the lady should receive a letter of disapproval, (b) someone should "right" her - in the sense of administering corrective action. Neither has pleasant connotations, and neither has any literary merit; but those are my best guesses.

In Donnie Darko, the character has to read a book that has confused him. He has questions for the author, a woman named Roberta. That's why he comments "Someone should write that b!tch [and ask her the questions]." Which he does later.
