As long as I don't see the needle, I'm fine with the needle. I just got a shot of antibiotics in the hip the other day - haven't had a shot in a long time. For an instant, I was a child in the old doctor's office, getting yet another injection or blood taken, and my mother was at my side again.

I work at a vet clinic, so I draw blood and place catheters in animals all the time. I am fine with needles if I am in control of it. But I don't like when a nurse is poking me with a needle. I'm not scared or anything, I just prefer that it didn't happen.

I absolutely hate them. The last time I had to get a shot, the girl giving it could see I was apprehensive, especially after the third time she attempted to find just the right spot on my arm, and she asked, "You don't like needles?" I replied, "Are you implying there are people that do?"

I'm o.k. with needles, I don't love or hate them. They used to bother me, but I've had so many shots lately they really don't phase me anymore. Last time, I got 8 shots in lower back, 1st one hurt other 7 didn't. They were pain/steroid shots.

I hate finger pricks too!! For some reason they're way worse than any shot!! I haven't any difficulty getting photos on the wellbeing care expert's place of work or having blood drawn. the only time I freak out (or prefer to, lol) is on the dentist. I hate getting Novocaine!

As long as I don't see the needle, I'm okay. I got my "flu shot" a couple of days ago. I barely felt the needle. :)

I have a strong dislike for innoculations or being sewn up.
The last time was about a year ago, merely a flu shot. It caused slight swelling, redness around the injection site and a mild case of the flu!

I loovve watching my blood get drawn - tube after tube after tube after tube... and then you start getting lightheaded and you wonder how you'd progressively feel if the nurse kept going and never stopped filling tubes up with your blood. How many tubes before death? That can probably be calculated mathematically, but I like having a connection with my human body...
Injections I hate - not because of the poke, but when my arm gets tetanus-esque for a few days.

Actually, I do enjoy getting blood drawn. I like watching the needle go in, and then watching the syringe fill up with blood...
