I am terribly confused after I began reading some information on American Airlines flight 77. Researchers claim that the hijackers didn't hit the Pentagon directly but instead, the plane hit the ground first at a nose dive angle before sliding into the building.
What I don't understand is, if this was a government conspiracy theory, why does the United States receive video tapes from Osama Bin Laden, claiming that unless we "convert," only death and destruction await us? And why did media report on 9/11 that when the four planes crashed, why did some of the Afghan citizens cheer?

I did not say that 9/11 was a conspiracy. But I was researching information for a class and came across it.
I have always believed and still do believe that 9/11 was provoked by terrorists who only seek to kill and destroy.
Got it? I just need some clarification.

No you don't. Your initial perception was correct. The government had nothing to do with 9/11, other then get caught with their collective thumbs up their ***.

i am not saying anything on this matter. I just really hate when people try to use the temperature at which jet fuel burns as a reason for the towers not collapsing. when metal gets hot it gets weaker. when a structure takes massive damage like and airplane crash it loses stability. put that together you get this. a massive collapse due to the weight from above. the floor below was not built to withstand a massive amount of weight slamming into it so it collapses in as well. the "c4 explosions" you see could be due to the pressure created from the entire roof collapsing in and forcing debri out. building seven I have no explanation.

You think it might be that the plane hit the ground first because the passengers tried to fight back and force the plane into the ground, but it didn't work? Unfortunately, we'll never know. At any rate, how does the plane hitting the ground before ramming into the Pentagon "prove" the government was in on it?

I loved the answer by Kacy.
Only one video image of the plane hitting the Pentagon and that was the CCTV from the Pentagon, all civilian videos were confiscated.
Was it a coincidence that where the plane hit was a part of the pentagon that was not in use at that time.
No wings or tail found from the plane.
Why was the plane not intercepted by the 3 fighter jets that protect Washington and the pentagon.
Anyway you want more unanswered questions that the government fail to answer take a look at this site.

I think its more than americans conspiring... im pretty sure they did it, and just blamed it on others..
With so much saudi money invested in our military defense companies and us stock market, it is not hard to follow the money and see the truth.
There are too many coincidences (youtube search 9/11 coincidences for more footage.) The simple fact that building 7 fell, without being hit by a plane leads one to wonder. The fact that Cheney was running norad that day, and bush's relatives were in charge of the security company in charge of the world trade centers... well one has to question..
My government college instructor once taught me to follow the money trail for the answers to why our government does anything. When you start looking there, and paying attention to who is profiting from each decision, its easier to see what the driving force of our government really is. They dont answer to the people anymore... They dont represent what is in our best interest.

I'm not confused. Two people I knew were on American Flight #77. Their bodies were recovered and I went to their funeral.

Or why did the Govt. restrict the pilots from carrying firearms after 40 yrs - just 2 months before the 'attack'?
Maybe you should study 'Able Danger' , the P n a C letter pre/911, 'Shock and Awe' briefing circa 1996 and the coming 'peak oil crisis'.

what you may not have known is there were many planes found with knives taped under seats. its a good thing we stopped all air traffic right away.
