Check out Hecla Mining (HL: about $9) or maybe Harmony Gold (HMY: about $9.90). They have a positive return on equity and return on assets. Harmony has some debt you might want to think of, but Hecla is in a good place there. If you are going by earnings per share, either way you slice it, Harmony is really good.

Compare those numbers with MFN ($11.40-ish), IAG ($8.60-ish), GRS ($10.70-ish), or GCGC ($8.00).
