After debating and deciding for an eternity my husband and I agreed on our 2 names for when we *finally* get pregnant.
I just want to know what your take on them is. What do you think when you hear them?

Girl: Sarah Jeanette Martin
Boy: Wesley Owen Martin

We've been trying to conceive for a year. We've had a lot of time to do nothing but think about having a baby, thats why we came up with names before we were pregnant.

Wow!
I think they are both adorable names!
Sarah Jeanette Martin. I love the middle name. Jeanette. Very unique. Pretty classy, too!

Wesley is an adorable name for a boy. I have always loved this name.

Great choice of names!
Good luck with your soon-to-be new arrival!

Beautiful. I have always loved the name Wesley.

I think, though, that Sarah Janine sounds better than Sarah Jeanette....
Sarah Jean or Sarah Jane also sounds very cute.

Best of luck!

Have you checked on the meanings of the names at all?
Sarah is hebrew & means Princess derived from the name Sari.

Some ideas:
-Name initials to spell something. (KIT= Kristy Irene T__)
-My friends met at ASU & by chance his last name started with a "U" so they named there son Andrew Sean U___
-You can check with the Social security office to see what names are used the most http://www.ssa.gov/OACT/babynames/.

It's your choice no matter what anyone says. I'm partial to Sarah that's my name. That's where Sess comes from The S is for Sarah & ess for Princess.

They could be movie stars that don't get told to change their names! Have you noticed that a lot of them are using their middle names? But, I can tell you, if you have a Dad or Grampa alive that hasn't got a namesake, even a middle name is a crowning achievement from either side of the family. My grmpa had four grandsons and my parents never included his name, Earl, in anywhere. He was so sad, my father was an only child. When I finally had my second son,I insisted my Grampa's name be his middle name atleast, my other son was named after a relative on my husband's (ex now) side. But 10 minutes after I had him, I called him,I was up walking around 10 minutes after I had him, anyway,I called Gramp, I said "Grampa, this is K**** **, I just had a little boy!" He was very quiet when he asked me "What's his name K*****? What's his name?" I said "It's ****** Earl (Last Name), after you!" I heard the phone hit the wall, he and my Nana were living in a Boarding home for the elderly, he was 72 yeears old, and I could here him running,I heard his flat sole Knapp shoes (he sold them and had 10 pairs for himself when he quit at 68,lol) going down those hard tile hallways hollering"I have a namesake! I have a namesake! My grandson has my name!" And I heard him crying, it was so emotional for me, having just given birth,I couldn'teven tell him without tears rolling down my face, I was bawling when the Attendant picked up the hanging phone and told me that it was all ok, he was crying still, but quieter, she checked his pulse,he was beating like the song WipeOut,she said, but he was so happy. We didn't have a car running, so it was almost 6 weeks before I could get a 25 mile ride to bring both boys to see their Great Grandparents. My Grampa was not aware I was on my way, I didn't want to stress him, but, there he was sitting right at the window, where he had sat, except eating or sleeping, waiting to see his namesake. When I got out of the car, out the door he flew, he grabbed my son,I trusted him completely. He ran in after he held the door for me,always a gentleman, and then took off holding him up by his head calling out to the other folks, "Come! Come see my grandson! My namesake! He was sitting in a rocker, mind you, he wore size 48 pants (He was always Santa in my hometown, lol), not much of a lap, and he's patting his other leg for my oldest son. He was beaming! I was bawling!

I like both of the names. I also like the names Sara Elisabeth and that is the name that I was going to name my last baby but chose Nicole Elisabeth instead.
