I am 25 years old, when I was a younger fella, I watched this series of movies with the kid and this monster, this monster was this kids buddy and would help him out of crunches. It was not an animated movie but just pictures every 5 seconds or so and a narration. The monster would go arrgggggggg!!!
Its really annoying me that I cant think of the name...I remember the video box being yellow and I think the monster was blue...
Anyone?

Kind of sounds like "Little Monsters". The boy was played by Fred Savage and the monster was played by Howie Mandel.
