Why does everyone like the patriots so much?I mean really you have no reason to like them, unless you live in Maryland, or used to live near there. Unlike colts fans who might have been a Peyton Manning fan in his college days, tom brady was liek 6th string QB at Michigan, and he was drafted in the 6th round, so that shows you all the excitement he caused in college. I am a Cowboys fan, but don't dare call me a bandwagon hopper like all of these patriots fans are, because i live 2 hours from Dallas, and i have been a Dallas fan since the crappy Quincy Carter days. Did you hear very much from the Patriots fans last year? Yes you did, but now that they have Randy Moss and are 5-0, here came all of the other "Patriot fans". What i guess i am trying to say really, is that i hate all of you bandwagon hoppers who just go and cling onto a team who is successful, and then drops them when they don't do so good.
And my opinion on the Patriots Cowboys game.
ran out of letters....

before you say that the cowboys are going to get dominated, look at the facts. in the bills game, dallas only cave up 3 points on defense, and despite having 6 turnovers on him, tony romo still threw for 309 yards, with something like a 58% completion rating.

ooh yea, and the patriots have yet to play anyone at all, so dont even start about brady's 75% completion rating or whatever it is.

i care, because the fans of the bottom ranked dolphins are with them through thick and thin, if the patriots and dolphins records were switched however, you would see all of these people who call themselves "patriots fans" cheering for the dolphins instead

if your going to insult me for being a cowboys fan, at least get your facts right, quincy carter started in the 2001 season, the season i started paying atention to the NFL, so lets see...2007-2001= 6... hmm somone needs to work on their math.
and in 2001 i was 9.... so i really dont remember much from the Aikman days.

good for you then, but before you go off saying why i like the cowboys, read, i live 2 hours from Dallas and have been a cowboys fan since i started watching football. Yea and i think TO is a bit overrated, what everyone seems to overlook though, is Jason Witten and Marion Barber, and so what i dont know where. and you went off like i insulted the patriots, and all of their fans, i just said i wouldnt be so sure about the Patriots being as good as everyone makes them out to be, and i said i hate the bandwaggon hoppers all over the south, and other places that arnt near Massachusets ( Maryland w/e they both are little and start with M's)

Well lets talk about the 20 points the cowboys gave to the Dolphins, or the 35 they gave to the Giants or the .......i think you get my point. While neither team has played any real good teams, the Patriots look better winning than the cowboys do, that is to say they are dominating in games against teams they should be dominating and the Cowboys are not.

Wow you been a fan since the Quincy Carter days, wow ........ man .................. such loyalty in one human being. You should have at least said Troy Aikman days. Being a fan since the Quincy days means you've been a fan for all of 3 years!

Wow man, you really are an idiot. You diss teams because they are good? why do you care what other people think? and Maryland/?? New england isn't even in maryland you friggin moron. I have been a Patriot's fan since 1992. And they used to be awful and i have stuck with them. Yes Brady is a good QB, but he was a gift to the pat's as a big steal in the draft, don't go making stupid assumptions that everyone likes the pat's because there good. Your just mad because your stupid moron QB fumbled the field goal kick in the play-offs and lost the game. Oh and how can you say you followed Romo in college? He was undrafted from illinios or some place like that. So you can't say you new romo until he was the starter. Stop talking your full of crp dude. And also the Patriot's are going to kick homoo romo as. 5 turnovers by romo and he beat the worst team in the league by like 2 points...haha try doing that against the patriots. 5 turnovers against us and well kill you 50-3. We actualy have a DEFENSE. and romo can't get it done with just T.O and a crp running game...idiot.

I agree I hate the people who just keep jumoing teams when they win I'm a die hard raider fan and just to tell you i think the patriots will win only because Tom Brady is extremely acurate and wont give turnovers but the cowboys defense is good so i predict the score 31-21 with patriots winning with a few interceptions

Ive lived in Maine all my life and have been a dedicated Patriots fan since before their first super bowl win in the 90's. I think this Sunday will be a great game, a battle of the greatest.

well, at least you're not a browns fan. just be proud of that.

sirtanak.. you're right. I'm a die hard bears fan and no matter how bad the season is, they will always be champions in my eyes. I supported Rex until he screwed up so bad they finally benched him. It's more about supporting your team through everything, rather than being there only for the win.

They're Front runners....it's easier to pull for a team that wins. All those angst filled Bears fans crying in their Jerseys over Rex Grossman are truer fans than these wannabees.

buy trashtalk is part of the game...again I have more respect for those Bears fans out there. They hate their team, but they love it just as much.

1970's Steelers/Cowboys
1980's 49ers
1990's Cowboys
2000's Patriots

I'm guessing you grew up in the 90's and/or live in Dallas.

i dont really hate the patsies i mean all the cheating and tuck rule stuff and all the questionable tatics, the calls that seem to go their way or the non-calls on their dbs for holding recievers 10 or 15 yards down the field like little girls holding on their mommas skirts....oh wait maybe i do hate the patsies, but i know one thing the patsie fans are the worst in any sport except for the sox fans....lmao
