ask any Shakespeare or lit. fan and it's Kenneth's no questions asked, you get nearly every line in that version, Mel's was just all show for the wanna be actor

I must agree with the other answerers, the Kenneth Branaugh version of Hamlet is far superior to the Mel Gibson version. I like that the whole play is filmed, completely unabridged, and enjoyed Branaugh's interpretation of Hamlet's character much more than Gibson's. I particularly hated the scene where Hamlet kisses his mother in the Gibson film. The Branaugh version is excellent (and one day I will learn how exactly he spells his name).

Kenneth Branagh's by far. It was unabridged and well acted. Granted they did not keep in the Shakespearean setting, no trains in the Bard's time. Still a masterpiece with an incredible cast.

I trust DAR76, i in my opinion beloved the action picture, yet had some subjects with the courting between Gibson's character and Glenn close's character. different than that, i think of it rather is in all possibility between the suited i've got seen available.
