well legaly no. if the paper saids her name that it is her's. if you bring it to the court it'll be just waist of money.
well only thing i can think of is that you can get a same looking dog and replace it with her dog when she doesn't know. now even if she finds out that you guy switched around theres nothing she could do cuz then you'll have a paper saying that you adoped a dog under your name. but ahh good luck with that.

Ask him for the dog back. I think it depends on the circumstances. If she was cheating on him, he likely took her dog to hurt her like she hurt him. See if someone could give him a call and ask if he would please return the dog. That works better than anything. Give him a few days and he may be ready to return the dog anyway.

They'll have to duke it out in court for custody of the dog. He will be able to get visitation rights....I am being serious.

i would go over to her house at night and steal it back.but if you steal it that would be breaking the law.so i would go ask a lawyer what to do because its not worth your time breaking the law

well... if it's a gift, than that's no far, tell her that if you gave it to him, it stay's with him. (unless he doesn't want it) and tell her that she can just visit the dog everyday if you want to.
