When you are in a fairly decent mood, and someone comes around and just starts spewing negative things, and you feel your blood pressure jump way up?

I love my dad, but I had to tell him to stop talking.

I am a grown woman and I put more into my parents' home than he does. I DO listen to him, but I don't want to hear about the beeyotch [who was living here and not paying rent and f*cking anything with a penis] stole my great-grandmother's rings and other things that my sister and I were supposed to inherit. I knew about her stealing my parents' ATM card and activating it, and stealing money from them, which ORIGINALLY, I got accused of doing-WHEN I WAS IN MY OWN PLACE!!! I would NEVER and have never!!!
So, yeah, obviously I am pretty upset, and had no idea she had violated my parents' so much more personally than just the ATM. I was better off not knowing.

Yeah, that does suck. Come on, get this big old bear hug, and get some of this positive energy. I try to store some for times when a friend needs some. I know that sounds crazy, but the good thing about positivity is, it can be easily generated by positive thoughts.

Yeah, i understand how you feel. my mother does the same thing. missing money, not helping, lost job, crappy boyfriend
if she don't stop talking when i try to change the subject, i tell her that i have to go.
i just can't stand all the drama, yes i love her too but enough is enough!

yes.
My parents are like that too. And now they wonder why neither me nor my siblings ever come and visit them anymore LOL

Negative people must be awefully lonely. Or does misery truly love company?

You probably need to listen to him since you live under his roof.
