Labyrinth is my personal favorite. Van Helsing is also great, but a little darker. Both of the Neverending Story movies are excellent older movies, but they do show their age at times in terms of special effects.
The Harry Potter movies are decent, but not as good as the books... I liked both The Illusionist and The Prestige, but Illusionist was a little hard to follow.
Hocus Pocus is a great Halloween movie with magic in it, if that's what you're looking for.

Simply Irresistable was a good movie, if you like romantic movies. Sara Michelle Gellar plays a short order cook who discovers something magical happens with her food. Very good movie for a date as well.

I actually kind of liked Practical Magic with Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman - really cute story of finding true love.
I also just recently watched The Covenant - really cool - kind of like a boy version of charmed sort of thing.
