The countries name is China. Not the Peoples Republic of Communist China.
Does this show the ignorance of the right in America?
Maybe it would better for the world to add a countries political agenda before the name.
If so America would always be referred to as Imperialist America.

I've LIVED in China and am aware of censorship, but at least you know it's there. How many in the U.S. are aware of how the media voluntarily censors themselves? Ignorance is not only a lack of knowledge but of education and understanding. Yes, technically China calls itself a Communist country but ignorance causes people to believe that it is an objective statement to say "Communist China." Would it be true to say "Democratic America"? Especially when the U.S. begins to take away our freedoms through the Patriot Act? These are all subjective statements and Communist China brings to mind a time of fear of the unknown during the 1950's, when Sen. McCarthy began his witchhunt of suspected but hardly ever proven Communists. People spied on each other. Ignorance is willfully ignoring this past history. This is why we are afraid of China today, because we still fear Cold War politics from 50 YEARS AGO.

Isn't the point that candidate is making that it is still true that China is a Communist country, even though they have adopted much in the way of Capitalism? I think people in America forget that.

China is a communist country. You need to learn the correct definition of "imperialist". If ever there was a country that has been repeatedly in a position to take over the world, it is the USA yet, after WWII with most of the modern world in ruins, with sole possession the only functional atomic weapons, with the largest standing army in the world, with the largest Navy in the world and our massive manufacturing network fully intact and geared up and tooled to produce more weaponry, what did we do? We could have actually taken over the entire planet without firing a shot. Instead, we provided security, food and medicine to the populations of our allies and former enemies, financed then forgave the loans that permitted them to rebuild their nations and helped them, through democratic processes, to determine for themselves the direction their governments would take.

And you have the audacity to call us "imperialist"?

Ridiculous.

To remind people of the failed political system of China. This isn't ignorance. The definition of ignorance is: lack of knowledge. China is communist so it's not lack of knowledge. They should include agenda's though. That way as soon as Hillary Clinton opens her mouth people would know she's spouting socialism.

First of all China is communist . We are opposed to communism and some of our people have forgotten that it still exist and need to be reminded. If you support Communist China's government than you shouldn't take offense to being called it. You should be proud we identify you correctly.
Believe me, we would love to call them, Democratic China, and I have hope some day in my time we will.
We've been called worse by your leaders.

Because China is communistic. Though, they seem to take a capitalistic attitude whenever they think they can make a buck.

Imperialist America? The Chinese invasion and takeover of TIbet wasn't imperialistic??? Their claims to Taiwan aren't imperialistic?

Because it is Communist China. You know the East Germans liked to call themselves the Democratic German Republic...but we all know they were hard core communists.

Let's call a spade a spade.

The name is The People's Republic of China. The PRC is a communist country.Apparently you pretty much ignored History,Social Studies, and Civics.

China executes approximately 10000 of its citizens every year.It has brutally occupied Tibet for over forty years.,murdering, raping and looting an ancient, peaceful land, pretty much just because it can.

You should really learn about that which you speak.
