Do they not know that ALL toyotas and hondas sold in the USA are made in the USA unlike some of the "American" cars. Cars like the Yukon that are made in Mexico and Canada.

Most American cars are NOT "Made in the USA". At best, they're ASSEMBLED in the USA with parts that are mostly made overseas.

The auto wars on which manufacturer is best died off years ago. You don't get much flack no matter what you drive. The only exception being pickup trucks (especially full size pickup trucks). Driving a Nissan of Toyota pickup truck is a mortal sin in some parts of this country. Mostly perpetuated by ignorant working class men who still think American cars are 100% American.

I have been buying Toyota for the past 20 years and I have never had anyone yell at me for buying a Japanese car.

Not all Toyotas sold here are made here, but most of them are. You can tell by the vin # where it was made.
