Yeah, actually but it was a school trip. Back in elementary school we went on a field trip to a wooded area, we took a walk through a trail that went terribly wrong. The signs were knocked down,it had been raining a few days before that so the creek was gushing with water. I remember someone on the bus asking if we were going to be able to walk through it.. the teacher replied,no, because of all the rain the few days before, but it didn't turn out that way.Our group got lost, and we ended up walking around trying to find out how to get back on the right trail(the signs were knocked over,so we had no idea)We ended up having to cross the creek, while someone was holding our hand. I have to tell you,it was pretty traumatic for me..being in 5th grade...lost in a wooded area. I was frantic. Finally,we met up with another group that was lost.. yes, they were in the same mess we were. Luckily we stuck together until we found our way out. I was relieved like no other,as all of us were. We had been walking out there for a while! We walked out of the trail only to see the only class that didn't get lost...and were having their lunches on the picnic tables! We were starved, our legs were wet and tired! Turns out the teacher of the class that didn't get lost was the one that had planned the trip. After that we left, and went home to write a little book of the trip that went very wrong. It was fun either way! =)

Oh, yes. I should have stayed to the right on Hwy 80, but was in the left lane, and ended up going south on some other highway, for about 20 minutes, before I realized what I had done.
and I was trying to get home from a friend's house in the country, and thought I remembered a shortcut. Wrong! I drove around the cornfields and must have gone in a circle once, because I passed a deer going into a cornfield, and then passed another coming out of a cornfield!

You are never lost until you are out of gas and don't know where you are. As long as you have gas you are not lost. However, I have been there many times.

Oh, yeah. But, I am a woman. Therefore I am genetically pre-disposed to ask directions. (Unlike some OTHER gender I might mention).
