Yeah, that question if kind of hard to believe as Germany was run by Hitler.

We were allies with Russia during WWII. A fact most people don't realize.

Well the Americans were not on anybody's side at first.
From September 1939 to December 1941 they traded with both sides and were not involved in any battles,
When Japan and Germany declared war on America in December 1941 the USA then became allied with Britain and the Soviet Union.

The Soviet Union was one of our allies and we teamed up to fight the Axis powers: Germany, Japan and Italy.

Considering this is an international site, exactly who is 'we'? I believe that all of the English-speaking countries involved in the war were with the Allies, which included the USSR.

If your speaking in English I take it your American or British so you were on the Soviets side(allies).
