What would women usually wear in the 80s?

Bright colours, and I mean that for everything. Shoes, makeup, sweaters, dresses, skirts.

Definitely tights/leggings with miniskirts & oversized sweaters and hang off of the shoulder. Big plastic hoop earrings and plastic bangles.

Teased/permed hair. Headbands and scarves.

Leather jackets and platform boots are also 80's if you were into the goth/punk scene.

Nothing says 80's like big shoulder pads! Blusher was real obvious and came it a point on the cheeks. Black eyeshadow. Big, big hair. loud perfume like Charlie or Giorgio. Jumpsuits were big. if you want stereotypical 80s, go for neon legwarmers, a ponytail to the side, lots of bracelets, abnoxiously cute skirts, and ripped up psychadelic tee's.
