Because I do all those things too - but I also believe in contributing back to the country that gave me these opportunities.
By pretending taxes are only about welfare, and that welfare is only about people who do not want to work - you are demonstrating both ignorance and a complete lack of compassion.

I really don't see your point accusing liberals of saying you're greedy for taking care of your family, working hard, paying your taxes and donating when you're able. God bless you. I'm not liberal, nor conservative. I'm a human being who doesn't want to see another suffer. I want my tax cuts, too, but I will give a buck when one is needed to help the children of those lazy asses who refuse to work! Children should not suffer from anyone's hand, parental, nor governmental. Our government needs a HUGE overhall to take care of our children and our elderly. Charity by the wealthy obviously is NOT working since we have so many homeless in our great country. People are losing their homes, their jobs, their livelihoods from this administration and we're in a clusterbuck. I'm not a young one and this time in America needs a great overhaul. Greed has no place here. Generosity must be our concern for the young and the elderly, politicians must be held accountable and the division between liberals and conservatives must come together. Okay, I'll get off my soapbox here. Take care, good luck, remember those who suffer.

I agree with you. I work three jobs and don't expect to get a free ride. I am tired of liberals expecting the hard working to pay for their needs while they sit home and collect welfare, food stamps and the benefits that Hillary keeps wanting to provide for everyone. The people who have the money work very hard to get to where they are in life. Hillary and the Libs would have them giving up more to "spread the wealth" to the lazy and "not willing to work" crowd. I also don't ask for help. I have worked for my entire life at least two jobs and most of the time 12 hour days and weekends, too. I had to support my children on my own and it was very, very hard to do but I did it honestly and am proud of what I have done. Hillary is promising the moon to everyone. The Libs want to pay all kinds of money to households that are making $82,000 a year. This is insanity. People should not be allowed to get welfare benefits and all kinds of other free care while they sit in their subsidized apartments and live off of us, the hard working. I am sick to death of this type of thinking. We need someone to cut the taxes, cut out the freebies and require people to do something in order to receive anything. I am not willing to support the illegal immigrants and their children either. I am not a heartless person but I believe in abiding by the law. These people are breaking it and don't deserve to be provided for by any of us.

9And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

10Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican.

11The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

12I fast twice in the week, I give tithes of all that I possess.

13And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

14I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

Luke 18:9-14 (KJV)

Amen. I could not have said it better myself. It's about time the liberal steps up and supports their own brood, without a handout from the rest of us that have proven it can be done with hard work and effort.

Libs think you are selfish because you are self sufficient and you are providing your own way, instead of letting the goverment provide the way.

Libs think you are selfish because you are out their working hard and making a good life and that's just not fair to the people who are sitting on their butts doing nothing.

Libs are calling the kettle black, in fact they are the ones who are really selfish.

funny thing is, 75% of the richest of rich are liberals.
Oprah alone could stop hunger in cambodia with one years salary. Nope, she only gives $$ when it makes a good show. I wonder if she knows that once you've taken credit for it , it's not charity any more.
If George Soros spent half as much $$ on feeding the poore as he does spreading propaganda, He could feed half of Africa.

Warren Buffet paid 17.5% of the one Billion he made last year in taxes, his secretary paid 30% of the $60,000 she made. Why give your hard earned money to the rich, do they need it more than you?

I'm not accusing you of that. But you need to realize that muillions of hard working Americans aren't as fortunate as yourself. They must make the choice between feeding their families or insuring them.
And that's not because they aren't trying, but rather that greedy corporatists have decided to gut the American working class.they have outsourced illions oif high paying jobs an replaced then with low paying service sector crap jobs.I am very happy you are able to provide for your family so well.I would just ask you to consider the fact that your fellow Americans truly need your help.

We don't. You're not greedy. You have every right to your hard earned money. You hate to see the government give handouts to lazy folks...well I hate seeing my money going to fight wars my nation shouldn't be involved in.

You're right we liberals and conservatives hate to give the government our money, because invariably they use it for stuff neither of us believes in.
