Dying at sea is part of the trade. Its sad, but it was proven this ship sunk do to someones error. I have read two books on this tragedy. Like most unfortunate tragedy's, it could have been avoided. I spent a few years at sea in the Navy. It is a wonderful world at sea.
It spends on me when I hear the song, but knowing these men went down doing what they loved, helps. A very good question, and it sure caught my eye when surfing the questions. Thanks.

I not cry but it causes me to think of ships that when down in the oceans of the world. The men and women that lost their lives to the sea. I have a deep love of the ocean, and there no other place I would rather die than in the embrace of the sea.
