I know someone with this last name and can not figure out what their ancestry may be based on looks alone.

I did a quick search and it seems to be a popular first name and last name oof Hispanic origin, and it looks like it is also a Scottish surname, also gives a history and coat of arms (very pretty!) Just google Candelaria, surname origin, and that's what pops uo. Hope it helps!
