There wasn't a lot of true rock in 1967 -- we had Aretha Franklin, Smokey Robinson, The Beatles, Van Morrison, the Monkees, Dusty Springfield, etc. Of course the Rolling Stones were just getting started,, but we had:, Jimi Hendrex was big, the Doors, Jefferson Airplane and a few others. I guess my favorite of what I can rememer would be The Doors: Light My Fire

Man, I dont know songs from the year 1967. Heck, I dont even remember which songs were made in 2004 and which were in 2005. I know The Doors was a late 60s band so thats my pick. Fav song would be Alabama Song

I'm going to second "Itchykoo Park" by the Small Faces (good call), plus "Let's Spend the Night Together" and "Ruby Tuesday" by the Rolling Stones, and anything by the Beatles, the Who, the Doors, Janis, Jimi, or Syd.
