60s help!!!!?

Question

what should i wear
what did they do with there makeup?
and what color o nails???

agian this is spirit week and we r doing 60s day!yea
so i need this by the 11 tomorrow

Well there were basically two styles in the sixties,
Hippy and Mod.

If you're like me you aren't too much into the hippy stuff lol.
If you want mod you're gonna want to wear bright colors with big designs and patterns or just solid colors, a nice knee-length dress will work.

A popular hairstyle among the teens of the sixties was shoulder length straight hair, slightly poofy on top and flipped out at the ends.
Hairbands were all the rage so try to wear one of those too!

Make up you're gonna want to accent your eyes the most, (tons mascara or fake eyelashes, eyeliner on top and dark shadow)
With foundation to make your skin look porceline perfect and verry little blush with a Nude shade lipstick .

If you don't have nude shade go for a light gloss or something.

Nails .. any color that matches your outfit!

I wouldn't do any color on your nails.
They were all natural.

But for makeup, use brown eyeliner and light brown shades.
Use a lot of mascara so your lashes are really long, but not to the point that they are all clumpy.

Use bronzer on your cheekbones, your forehead, a little on your nose and on your chin. Then put a nice rosy shade of blush on your cheek bones.

Wear really natural chapstick or lipstick. No glossy things.

Wear torn up jeans that are flared. If they have patches, it's even better. Wear a worn in tshirt. It can have things like peace signs, smiley faces, old bands, etc, or can be one color. You can wear a vest [unbuttoned] over it. Wear a bandana around your head, and tie one around your leg.

Wear your hair down or in really messy braids. If it's down, don't straighten it. Leave it natural.

If you have old shoes [flipflops, converses, rainbows, etc.], wear those.

Wear long earrings only if they look really natural. Wear jewelry that is wooden or made of natural looking materials.

Miniskirts or anything paisley, colored stockings, a vinyl mini dress, white lipstick and nails, bubble hairdo, blue eye shadow for the Mod look

Or jeans, peasant top, hair long and unstyled, no makeup for the hippie look

love beads, and nails?? wear red, or purple, or blue, light blue, and also wear bell bottoms, and mini skirts, and a crocheted granny square shawl. Look on this great site for ideas, called groovy crochet. lots of ideas for wordrobe, and u dont have to make them, just to get an idea of what they wore back then. And listen to the beatles!

Maybe brown nails or something, bright red, too.
Since you say it's spirit week, going hippie wouldn't be so bad. Put some random braids in your hair, flowers, tye dye..
