It depends on how one defines pride. I think of pride as being another way of describing self esteem. My self esteem is in tact. I know who and what I am. I have learned that "words" are just "words" and have no power in and of themselves to hurt anything. It is how we interpret words that makes them hurtful.

I used to be that way, but I have grown to take things with a grain of salt. I used to be way to serious about things. I am a better person for coming out of the mindset.

Hmm, i would say no. I am a fairly humble Person as i do not have much to be overly proud about. But if you say something about my Family or Friends i definitely will be insulted.
