Mine i plan all the menus for the house every week and i cook every nite except on wednesday and saturday evenings then it is pizza rolls and hot dogs or pick and grabs.

For my house it's normally whoever has the most time for cooking.
Usually my mom, or if she has a long day at work I'll do it, and if my dad stays home from work he'll usually make spaghetti or attempt something more complex.

My mom cooks most of the time. My dad cooks when my mom is busy with something else. I do small chores.

In my home, I (the mom), do most of the cooking. He likes to bbq, so, on those nites, I get a break.

i am the official cook in my house... 'course there are only two of us, so cooking isn't that labor intensive, but it is i and i alone who does it... well, sometimes she surprises me though and will rarely cook for me...
