Synchronicities happen when you are on the right path. It's a sign from the universe to you.

For Example I have been reading Wayne Dyer's Inspiration, which has a butterfly theme throughout the book. Last week I brought this book to school with me, I saw two butterflies go in front of my car as I drove. Then I was talking to a friend of mine and she pointed out a butterfly.. A while later I ended up letting her borrow the book because she said she wanted something spiritual to read. Then I noticed she had a shirt with butterflies on it!

A few days later I was in my back yard and A butterfly flew right up to me. Yesterday I was in the doctor's office and a baby girl, about 2, was smiling at me and she had butterflies on her jeans!

I'm seeing The Police live in concert tonight. Does that count for "Synchronicity"? Actually I don't buy the concept of synchronicity. Sure, I've had an old friend call up sometimes after just thinking about them. But if I stopped to keep track at how many times I thought of him and he DIDN'T call, it doesn't seem so amazing that he'd call after one of those times.

Synchronicity is what New Agers call coincidence. Rather than admit it's just a fun little overlap in events, for New Age folks a coincidence has to take on some heavy, complicated, cosmic meaning.
