i have tweezed my brows since as far back as i can remember and my right eyebrow is almost gone and it won't grow back so i use a pencil to draw my right brow on, is there an alternative other than penciling it on every day because the pencil does tend to come off during the day and its pretty embarassing, my friend suggested tattooing but i would not have a clue where to start, is there anything else that i can use that will last all day without coming off....? thankyou

alexox...there isn't a full brow there the bow is not there bit the part that points to the inside of my eye is...so theres no actual brow...no hair...it just won't grow back...the other brow is full, it's a bit embarassing if it comes off though, i work as a singer and the heat from the lights melts the pencil off, so i have to keep my fringe covering my right eye...it's mad...lol...

You can try to re-grow your brow w/ 5% Rogaine.

Try a brow powder & tinted brow gel instead of pencil.

"Eyebrows grow more slowly than other body hair (for which we should probably be grateful), so be patient. But about those bare patches: Zealous plucking or waxing, which repeatedly traumatizes follicles, may result in permanent hair loss, says Katie Rodan, MD, clinical associate professor of dermatology at Stanford University School of Medicine. Try topical 5 percent Rogaine Extra Strength, applied with a Q-tip to the areas where you want regrowth. If the follicles are still viable, you should see results in four to six months."

I did this but I shaved them, both of them.....hey I was young

What I do now is if I ever over pluck I have a eyebrow kit ( which is a powder) I bought from the body shop the same shade so I can fix it

I also advise you to get them waxed into shape when they grow back, I did this, that way when they grow you can pluck just the stray hairs

Actually i think there might be an alternative to a pencil. When i was at the spa once i saw a sign that said eyebrow tinting, i don't think they can make your eyebrow bigger, but fuller and darker in colour. I'm not sure how long it lasts but I'm guessing maybe a month?

I did that too. What I do is since my eyebrows are black I use Jane eyeshadow. Get a eyebrow brush and use a eye shadow that closely matches your eyebrows. Follow the outline of your eyebrows. And you have your eyebrows back without having to pluck your other one.

Not sure. All I can think of is don't pluck them for a while and see how much of the hairs grow back. Sometimes it can take a long time for them to grow back.

they actually have eyebrow implants now. (yes, it's true) they take a little hunk of skin from the underside of your hair, where it isn't noticable, and then 'implant' the skin to your eyebrow area. then of course, they cut the hair. and the skin grows into your forehead as if you had just gotten a cut or something, then all the 'evidence' goes away and nobody has to know a damn thing! good luck!

this happened to my sister.. use ROGAINE (the hair growth product) as crazy as it sounds it works.. make sure to use it only on the parts of your eyebrows where u want hair to grow.. in about a 2-3days it'll be back and then get them professionally plucked or threaded! (it works wonders)
