You wouldn't? See, this is one of the problems with baseball's popularity. Every one complains all year long about the Yankees, then when they aren't in it, people don't watch. Fans of baseball watch the post season. Period. If you think, "Well, my team's not in it. So I won't watch," is it any wonder that its popularity is slipping? Winning is nice. But the sport is nicer. If the World Series consisted of an all-woman league because of war, I'd be watching.

The Marlins used to have two great teams. In the only times they went to the playoffs they won the World Series. In 1997 they beat the Indians with a walk-off single but after the season the front office had a fire sale which is like selling off the good players for young prospects to get more mony. who aren't even with the team anymore. I know one of the guys who got sold off and it was Gary Shelfield. Then in 03 they had a really good team. They D-Train, Josh Beckett, Pudge, Miguel Cabrera and a lot more. They swept the Giants, Bartman kinda helped them win, and they beat the Yankees in 6. But then another fire sale happened, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a a Devil Rays and Marlins world series. I mean two teams could be good. I mean if the Marlins stop being cheap they could have a much better team and the Devil Rays are devolping into a really good team. So get your facts straight.

I'd watch it for one I'd have to see it to believe that the Rays where actually playing in a World Series and two the Marlins only get hot about every five years but when they're hot they're unstoppable

Yeah, I would watch it.
The D-rays have some pretty good players. They're not gonna be the joke of the AL East for long.

The Devil Rays, I would watch it for sure.
Crawford, Young, Upton, Baldelli (when healthy), Pena had a monster year this year. If they had any pitching, they would win the east.

I might watch some of it because it would be a Florida showdown, but the funny thing is that more people in Boston would watch it than Florida.
