Depending what happened, Myspace is usually a good place to find old people you knew without having to talk to them. Lol.
Or you could do a background check of sorts online, but it will cost you. It really depends on what you are trying to find out.

You could try finding them on Myspace or peoplefinder.com - or classmates. Easier if they're adult of course.
Depends on what happened to them, If they were arrested you might find it online for the county.
