Probably bombing nuclear weapon making material sent to Syria from their good buddies in North Korea! It shows as usual that Israel has true resolve and courage!

Sending a message to Iran that the new radar system installed in Syria and Iran (purchased from the Russians) can be taken out with new US jamming technology. The site was a missle and chemical weapons site. Imagine the shock when the Iranians found out Israel could get in and out without so much as a blip on their fancy new radar warning system!

I think razor jim is on the right track,Syria was basicly bragging that it's new radar technology ,freshly purchased from Russia was all the rage,Isreal with some help from the U.S. showed them they were wrong,plus it did show Iran that the same equipment they had was useless as well,the one thing I am not sure is the targets,but I am pretty sure they wern't wmd's, am sure the U.S. would want to capture those and prove to the world they did exist.

They were destroying a nuclear facility I believe. Nobody has complained so I don't believe they were unjustified. Not even the Syrians are complaining. Probably because they knew they were up to no good and they just got caught.

Israel will do what it wants to defend itself. It does not follow your rules, the rules of the United States or other nations when it feels threatened it takes action. It is a novel concept - America ought to think about it more often.
