If an organization supports medicaid and medicare, does it mean that it is Liberal?

does anyone know what political party and ideology American Medical Association(AMA) supports?

I think the AMA is probably mostly Republican, it is democrats like John Edwards that have made their insurance rates so high. Thought the first answer was correct in that they do not openly endorse one party over the other.

I don't think these guys openly 'support' politicians or political causes.
Having said that, with most of their members being highly educated, the vast majority would probably go Democrat.
