I'm up for a challenge of getting this guy i somewhat know but really want. So I'm wondering. What are some key things a guy is looking for in the way a girl dresses/looks and the way she acts?
And I dont mean assets because I can't change those, I mean like clothes and jewelry and stuff.... and personality

It's a case to case basis. It really depends on who you're going out with. I know that your point is just to look good on your date (not for your date) so this isn't about changing yourself, in general. Right?
If the guy is conservative, then you should not over-accessorized and shouldn't dress too revealing. If the guy is sporty, he may take you to some of his sports activities so you might as well want to wear something that will allow you to move or to participate on that specific sport.
The bottom-line here, there are really NO rules that you should follow. Because if it doesn't suit your taste (or even your date's taste) then what's the point?
As long as your comfortable with what and who you are, then it will just be evident in how you look and act. I think it's more important that you let your inner self shine through. ;)

never change for a guy not even youre appearence, let him like you just the way u are ... the way u dress shows how u really are, so if u change it, it will be like puttin another layer which is not you.

looks good, dont over do it on all of the make up and stuff, and just a great person to be around.

it depends on the person. Some guys like girls with dyed black hair and tattoos and some guys hate it. Just be yourself and see how things go

They want someone with big boobs, a confident yet lady-like at the same time personality. who is also a size 8.

i think that its best that u be urself... the more casual u are the more comfortable the guy will be... just be plain & simple... i know u got the looks and the charm.. and that ur attractive... what counts more is by simply being urself... and remember... first impression last...

Personally ... I love it when a girl / woman looks comfortable and relaxed in whatever she is wearing .... jeans & T shirt are cool with me .... if she is happy with it

If your going to go and change yourself for a guy its not worth it. Just be yourself and if he doesn't like you, it wasn't meant to be.

Its different for everyone but i just like a gurl who dresses nice (not preppy but not goth) and has a good humor
