trying to change my Avatar to something not a cartoon!! I've been able to change my IM and 360 but I can't get this one to change!! Any helpful advice will be appreciated!!

*sigh* dont worry its not just u.. y!a is down n a lot of ppl havent been able 2 change their avatars...like me...grrrrrrr

All these guys are right Ginny about editing your pic on your 360 page, but the problem itself is with Yahoo.
I wanted to change my photo to another on my 360 page, and changed the settings well over a week ago yet nothing happened. It was still my original photo.
Low and behold, I log on today and there's my new photo!! Unbeleivably slow.. So what i'm saying is make the change just as per the instructions and wait it out...

Something you are missing somewhere. When I set up my account and 360 profile was able to post picture. Go back in and edit your profile, look for a tab or checkbox. Has been a while, but was under the section for Avatar to use.

The only way i know how to do it is to add the picture to your 360 page and then on answers when you edit your profile choose the use my 360 avatar or pic or whatever it is. I hope this helps you Ginny....

Can't youjust upload a pic onto your 360 and then click Edit my profile, use my 360 avatar? Something like that?

Well...lemme see! lol OK I saw....do you have a 360 page? If not, you need to open one and download your picture there. Then you need to edit your Y!A info and click the option "use my 360 picture" and that's it...try it and let me know if it works.

Its a buggy system, you probably aren't doing anything wrong, and it will fix itself eventually but no doubt not as soon as you want. I'm not sure what happened with mine either, my avatar has washed away completely!

I changed mine a while back.. I know i did it through my 360 page....Sorry,Gin...That's all i remember!!

say "edit" and from the menu say "upload photo" say "choose file" and find your file in your hardrive! Hope I helped!

Click ur name and wen it goes to ur profile..click edit my info....self explanitory after that.
