There are varieties of dwarf fruit trees that you can grow in a pot, such as Meyer Lemons and oranges. I found out about them while searching for an answer for a lady who was asking about them. Also, Henry Field's has a dwarf blueberry bush that you can grow in a pot. I imagine you can grow them inside, if you have sufficient light.

Hi,
One thing that I have growing outside in the summer, then I bring it in, in the winter are
Small Hot pepper plants. I don't eat the peppers but I think they are so pretty, the ones I have grow Red hot peppers that stand up like a flower would. They are bright apple red.
The miniture Orange, and lemon trees are pretty too. there are also miniture Banana trees that you can grow.
Go to a Gardening store and tell them you want indoor fruit bearing trees. they can tell you what you can grow, where to get them, and how to care for them.

Since it's rosemary, I'd say it's fruit flies. Get a skinny (think vinegar) necked jar & put some honey or wine in it. They flies will be attracted & get stuck. Most wine tasting rooms do that.

You can bonsai a lemon, lime, orange, or tangerine tree. The fruit will be sparse, but you'll have a pretty conversation piece.
