More profitability for the small business owner and a huge unemployed unskilled labor work force that would result in less dependance on the illegal immigrant. Actually a great idea!

Wipe out the biggest company in America, and you'd certainly have some economic harm. Workers would be dislocated and have to resettle in the economy, which would take time. Inflation certainly would go up; Wal-Mart's buying power has been one of the biggest controls on inflation over the last 20 years.

After a while, the effect would slowly be reduced.

NO Way!! I grocery shop at my little town grocery store more then Walmart now. Walmart is getting ridiculously expensive in my area since recent development has brought new stores. Kohls and JcPenney have better sales on clothing and it is better quality. Other grocery stores offer better sales on food items. Best Buy is just as cheap for electronics. Honestly I hate Walmart. They are slow, the grocery area is always understocked and I can never get what I need. Their employees are underpaid so there is always so many in training which makes the lines slower.

Everybody would go to Target? Nothing would really happen, all the employees would to to McDonald's or Burger King for jobs, the other big chains would sell more stuff, and nobody would really notice or care.
