I am 37 weeks and 3 days and I hate it when people say, "When are you ever going to have that baby?" Well first of all most of the people who ask me this know that I am scheduled for a c-s because of a physical problem I have and it's not time for her yet anyway, they know at 39 weeks she will be coming unless she decides to come before then and that's fine too, but people need to lay off. It also gets on my nerves when people tell me I don't look very big, or I thought you were only 7 mos pregnant! I have done very well with my weight gain and they say my baby is a good size according to ultrasound, I'm just carrying her very low, people need to just shut up! Sorry, I'm very hormonal and irritable right now, but there are a lot of ignorant comments people make while you're pregnant.

Well, when I was pregnant many years ago I used to hate people that would want to touch my stomach, or would make comments on how BIG I was, or friends that would ask me who the father was, (I was single at the time) like it was any of their business. My Son's father turned out to be a looser who skipped town, and I ended up adopting out my second child because I couldn't care for him and another child with out a father.
Those quesitions really hurt more than anything else. But as long as you are happy, and in control of your life, don't let what others say hurt you.

I'm pregnant with my third and all three are girls. I am so sick of people being sad for me because they are all girls! Before I found out everyone kept saying to me "Maybe it'll be a boy this time" and when I found out it was a girl (I already knew it was, mommy intuition) it was all "well maybe next time" Next time my back side, they'll be no "next time" I'm done!
Right now I live in Korea and the Koreans always look at me like you poor thing, no boys or they say "you only have the two girls, no boys" grrrrrrr

When I was pregnant I HATED it whenever people would ask, "so do you know what you are having?" We choose not to find out..big deal..we are now set for our next little one because we have gender neutral stuff. After they'd ask that they would then ask " why aren't you finding out, you can't get things ready without knowing what you are having" ANNOYING! We were having either a boy or girl..what a wonderful surprise and anticipation hearing my husband say it's a boy! Our little Jaden Christopher:-)

3 things.
"Eat up, you are eating for two now." NEVER eat as though you are eating for two. The baby will take what it needs from your diet as long as you are eating properly. If you eat for two you are more likely to have a harder time getting rid of the post pregnancy fat.
People who try to tell you how to raise your baby before you even have it.
"Make sure you love them well" DUH! Im just going to have my child and despise it for all eternity. I don't think so.

"wow you're sure gaining weight really fast aren't you?"
yes, I am...i was underweight before i got pregnant and now my body is trying to make up for it.
"look at those stretch marks!"
thanks i'm not self conscious about them already!!!!
"do you mind if i touch it?" (the belly)
um....yes...
i still live at my father in law's house (both hubby and i got laid off when i was 5 and 6 months preg so it's been rough) and we're waiting to get an apartment and they smoke inside the house and i'm SO sick of hearing people tell me how unhealthy it is for me and the baby!! I'm like yes, I'm fully aware, but it's much healthier than being HOMELESS and on the street in the rain with nothing to eat thank you very much!
I'm cranky now thinking about it hahaha.

When I was pregnant with my first I was a teenager and still lived at home with my mom, though my daughter was only a couple months old when I moved out, and this lady who thinks she knows everything looked down on me and was like "and who do you think is going to be getting up at night with that baby?" and I said myself since she is my baby and this lady very arrogantly says "grandma thats who" - this lady is a friend of my mothers and she was making a mockery of it, laughing with my mother but I was pissed. Even if my mother had tried going to my baby when she woke I wouldn't let her. She is my baby and my mother was not taking over her.

People giving telling me what I should or shouldn't be eating or doing and complete strangers coming up and touching my baby. Why is it my belly is "public" property just because I'm carrying a baby? Would you touch my belly if I wasn't pregnant?
