i tried to connect my internet to my laptop...but it wont work..what can i do so it can work?.......its not the internet..cus i am using my internet with my desktop...its just not working in my laptop.

make sure the connection is on and enabled first ...

Are you connecting wirelessly or wired??
If wired then you need an Ethernet cord(looks like a phone cord with BIG jacks at the end) If its wirelessly then make sure your wi-fi is on the laptop---then go into Set Up Internet---if you have info on your router and are using laptop wirelessley then you will have to enter your passcode in the laptop to connect to it..

THe hardware switch on your laptop must be on and run the network setup if needed.

Hi. You need a connection, either wireless or the RJ45 (Ethernet) cable.
