History has shown that it takes at least 10 years to defeat an insurgency. However "WE" are not in Iraq. I, and other servicemen and women are in Iraq, so don't worry about it. We'll be there as long as it takes to do the job.

the usa will be there slightly longer than the foreigners who are blowing people, cars, and building up every day are there. Until the wild eyed Muhammad Freaks leave, the USA can't leave. They're both foreigners in Iraq, it's just that one side is rebuilding and the other side is detonating dozens of bombs a day, killing dozens upon dozens of people every day.

We will be there for all time. There will be no end to the war on terror and Iraq will be a place we will stay to monitor the world's activities....just like we are still everywhere we've ever been.
