I'm looking to decorate my back yard for a kids (2 year old) Halloween party. I don't have many trees in the middle of the yard so I can't really hang things. I have a few signs I am going to post, three tables with Halloween tablecloths and pumpkins and gords (sp?) as decorations but don't know what else to do. I don't want anything scary. Would scarecrows be alright or is that not really Halloweeny?

Also, do you think I need to decorate everyroom? I decorated the dining room with a Hallween table cloth and a few things hanging from the chandelier and decorated the family room with streamers and a centerpiece. But, I don't really plan on decorating the playroom except maybe a few things hanging from the ceiling. Is it necessary to decorate the kitchen?

Thanks!

Candy is a must. Get pumpkins the size of a baseball if possible so the kids could play with them.

Refrigerator boxes cut to look like coffins and painted black....those pesky spiderwebs....if you have bushes..just stuffing some masks and putting them in the bushes is cheap and easy.

Black, orange and purple balloons, fake spider webs, pumpkins, confetti, and maybe even a fog machine.
