Because of the excess fluid.

But it all comes down to hormones because they are what cause the excess fluid to be produced.

Later on in pregnancy you pee more because of the large uterus pressing on your bladder.

Yes, in early pregnancy when there is no extra weight on your bladder, its totally hormone related. That surge of hormones does all kinds of whacky stuff to us!

as the baby gets bigger it puts pressure on your bladder it is alot worse later in pregnancy as the baby gets bigger and puts more pressure on your bladder.
