You can't! He is our Commander in Chief and everyone in the military volunteered to serve our President Bush and sacrifice their lives for his legacy!

It's very easy. If you can't understand the difference it's hard to think how to simplify it beyond exactly how you put it yourself, but I'll give it a shot.

The troops do what all troops do - they follow the orders and missions set out for them by their Commander in Chief. Our troops are loyal, brave and very good at what they do. I'm proud as hell of them, as are most Americans. They always have mine and my family's full support.

That is not the same thing as approving of the course that Bush has set out for them. Just because I don't believe that Bush is a good Commander in Chief doesn't mean I think the troops are to blame. They don't set out their own missions, HE does that. He makes the decisions on what course those troops are to take, they have no say in that and are not held responsible for it.

Yes, because the troops have no say in where they will be sent, but Bush is a civilian elected to office who will decide where to send the troops. If I disagree with the Presidents choices I have every right as a citizen to do so.

The troops are heroes that put their lives on the line for their country.
Bush, on the other hand, is a complete moron who doesn't deserve to be president. He is the reason there just as many Americans dead in Iraq as there were during 9/11.
One deserves all of our respect and the other deserves our contempt.

I have made stickers on my computer that says that. I put it on letters. At one end of the label I have soldiers. In the middle I have written "We support our troops, not their commander-in-chief". On the right of the label I have a picture of Bush flipping someone off.

Send the troops care packages, don't vote for bush. But than again if you vote for those who do not provide support for the troops like cutting funding, than you may not be supporting the troops.

The troops are government employees who are performing tasks assigned to them by politicians who make policy decisions. Get the picture?

You could basically say something like "I support the troops but I do not support Bush". That would probably do it.

I say that I support our troops and I respect them enough to try and end their misuse by this administration.

I support our troops and would like them to not be killed or maimed for a war that never should have been started.

I do not support Bush because he invaded a country which should never have been invaded.

Easy!

You say "I support our troops, but not the administration that started this ridiculous war".
