I'm looking to buy a grapic tablet for my dell inspiron laptop. There's so may out there, I have no idea which one to choose.

I'm not a profesional, but I'm not someone who just wants to scribble.(I'll be going to college for graphic art/design next fall) I'm looking for something in the middle-range. I want something with plenty of options, but something I can afford.
I'm thinking $75-200 range maybe $250.

I've heard good things about wacom but is that the best out there? (batteryless is a plus)

Wacom is by far the best mid-range for graphics work..

You can start with Wacom Graphire. ^__^
I have a 4 x 5 tablet. You can start with that or 6 x 8 and then if you can afford an Intuos, go for it!

It's battery-free. :D
