Military suppressed freedom of speech in Myanmar including the imprisonment of political leaders. Thus, the monks staged mass actions for the return of the freedom and the release of political leaders. However, instead of giving in to the demands of the monks, the military staged a crackdown on dissedents and arrested the leaders of the protests.

Myanmar is a dictatorship.

One guy thinks he's God and owns everything and everybody.

The people demonstrate for freedom.

That means they would take away the dictator guy's goodies.

He don't like that.

He sends out the police and they beat people up, kidnap and kill them.

Hurray for dictator guy.
