No but I found out that they are hermaphrodites that can self-fertilize. They can also get stuck together. (See the reference)

Actually, catz, I did see one with brown spots once. It was 4 or 5 inches long!

Seriously; Yes on both counts ( I live in the North West. We have ALL kinds of slugs here.)

Only once....the banana tried to tell me it wasn't ripe yet, but I went to peel it anyway, and POW!!! Slugged me right between the eyes.

Gross! I thought the ones that keep coming in my flat from the witch's garden next door (24 so far this year) were ugly. I think I need to redefine ugly.

yes i seen one..when i went up to santa cruz..that's the offical mascot for the university of california santa cruz..they look gross in person

yes, but the ones i saw had brown spots. they were like 8 inches long, they were monster sized.
