for instance the canary warf towers have there lights on all night surley every floor cant be used at night as well. its a huge waste of electricity if you ask me.

Oh that's ok - haven't you heard they use energy efficient light bulbs - so that's all right then.

They will probably plant a few hundred trees in Derbyshire and tell us that they have offset their carbon emissions, in fact we are now carbon neutral.

I totally agree with you. And the government is on OUR backs to save energy, global warming an all that shpill. One floor alone on Canary would run a whole street of houses electric. It's on 365 days a year ...complete waste.

Happens every night with the council offices in Portsmouth, not only is it bad for the environment but we are paying our taxes for that waste.

Well, those yuppies work all night long to avert the next financial meltdown which could occur due to the heat from all those bulbs.
