I signed up for three. Bought some stuff. They send a deal every month, sometimes two. You call the number and tell them not to send books they are pushing, but for some reason books show lup about a third of the time. Then you mail back. YOu cannot refuse as they say the PO may not return. So then you get a bill and collection company. I use the tag that shows I mailed it. Then send copy of that to them, still jerking me around. Now one of them will no longer use phone service and you have to mail slip in so they won't send it.

I called and was told PO might keep it nad they never got it and i explained I had sent the slip in. So I cancelled and then told they valued me and wanted to just send the list of books each month.

I asked the person if they do this on purpose knowing 25% of people will just pay for books and then the ones that pay to send back they tell them they didn't recieve the books and 25% of them pay. Seems funny that I always cancel before the date.

This wouldnt be the Quality papwer back book club of Cmap Hill Pa would it? I was part of their CBOMC and would send the stuff in to refuse adn still get the books so I sent them back unopened. Also when I did order they would overcharge and not give me credit. Needless to say I no longer belong to ANY book club. Thats what Borders and the library are for.

I borrow my cousin's books since he belongs to one. Not all book club are as push so the best way to solve what is happening to you is to buy the obligation and do not forget to write no when they mail you a monthly offer.

No, but that is because I have not belonged to a book club for 27 years. You have to be very careful with the you must respond clubs.
