OK, I've been struggling lately with this team, and I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions to turn it around. I'm 2-3 in a 12 team competitive league, with two or three teams at 5-0. I guess you could say that I have screwed up a few times with some moves or trades, but I'd really like to try and make this a better team. OK, here it is:

QB: Donovan McNabb
QB: Jay Cutler
WR: A. Johnson
WR: I. Bruce
WR: D. Bowe
WR: J. Jurevicious
RB: M. Jones- Drew
RB: L. White
RB: E. Grahm
TE: D. Clark
TE: C. Cooley
BN: F. Taylor
BN: R. Dayne
BN: M. Booker
BN: J. Harrington
BN: A. Smith
BN: V. Morency

I'm kind of struggling, but I'm still not out of it. Please tell me any adds/drops or trades that I should try doing. Anything that you can think of to help my team is appreciated. Thanks, most detailed and thought out answer gets 10 points!

Alright...I have decided to give you some advice.

Yes your team is really going down hill and probably fast at this moment. Your RB's have the best potential, but in fantasy football, its really hard to wait for that to come around. Your QB's have both struggled, but once they get their legs back under them, they should do fine by the end of the season.

Your WR is even worse. Bowe is the best starter that you have right now with Johnson most likely being out for week 6. Bruce is a guy that should only start on the bye week. Which really sucks because Booker isn't any better at his position. With both of the offenses struggling there, I guess Bruce would be the best start.

TE is the strongest position. Campbell seems to be finding Cooley and Manning loves Clark especially with the doubles coming on the outside receivers.

In the RB's I would really play the matchups. Taylor could be a back that could get you a decent amount of yards per game. Even though he does split time with MJD, he will still get most of the goal line carries. Harrington doesn't belong on anybody's team to be honest. He is going to get destroyed against NYG this monday. I'm assuming that is Alex Smith of SF and not the TE in TB. Either way they both need to be dropped.

Your best bench player is probably Morency and he isn't doing much. With Wynn finally poking his head out as the starting RB, it could be the possibility that he could be useless in 3 weeks.

Overall your team has potential, and that's a bad thing. In the preseason its good, but going into the 6th week its horrible. Your team is decent enough to probably keep you at .500 for the year.

I can only really suggest some trades, like trying to give up Johnson for a better RB. Keep Taylor...but there is very little that can be done to save your team.

Sorry bro.

Good luck!!

Trade Chris Cooley for a more dependable RB. RB are important in many fantasy leagues. Also check the waiver wire afew times per day. Picking up sleepers is important.

If you do drop McNabb, don't do it until after this weekend. He's up against a Jets defense that ranks 20-something both passing and rushing, and should put up good numbers. That will give you more perceived value for him.

As far as sleepers that may be available on the waiver wire, check out this article by Mike Fabiano of nfl.com: http://www.nfl.com/fantasy/story?id=09000d5d8031e24e&template=without-video&confirm=true

Get rid of Marty Booker, Alex Smith, Isaac Bruce and Fred Taylor. you need help at WR since Bruce is old and washed up, and Johnson is hurt. Booker is not the answer, try to get someone off waivers to fill in. Smith is crap, get warner if you can. Taylor isnt doing much this year, pick up Young from Denver just in case Henry has to serve a suspension.
