My Predictions
1. New York Yankees He's Most Likely Gonna Stay With The Bombers. He Had An MVP Season. I Think The Yanks Would Pay Him More If He Continues To Contribute. 65% He'll Go To The Bronx Bombers
2. Chicago Cubs He Knows Lou Pinella And Most Members Of The Team. He WouldLove To Be With His Old Squad For Another Season.15%
3. New York Mets? The Amazins Could Use Another Big Bat In There Lineup. Wright At 3rd Reyes At 2nd And A-Rod To 2nd. That's A Rumor

He's going to opt out for sure, so that leaves out the Yanks. He CANT go to the Cubs, because of that report that came out about a month ago saying that he was already in talks with the Cubs. So, if he ends up there, then Chicago can expect a huge legal battle from the Yanks and an investigation by MLB.
Anaheim has said that they arent going to pay what he's asking. The Mets cant use him, unless they reconfigure their infield [but I'm not ruling them out]. So, here it goes:
1. Boston
2. Mets
3. Darkhorse candidate - The Giants [they are looking for that "franchise player" that was mentioned before and they sure did clear up a lot of payroll in a hurry for the winter.
If this whole thing comes down to a money fight [which it probably will] then I would expect him to go to Boston. Shoot, Boston would probably give him $40mil just to talk about it.
Also, if the BoSox go to the WS, then I would say that they would automatically gain the advantage in any negotiations that occur this winter.

My Opinions
(1. Yankees - He seemed to be enjoying his stay in New York this year, plus the Yankees got money for A-Rod. Lots
(2. Red Sox - Same thing with the Red Sox. Another option.
(3. Tigers - A-Rod would want to play for Leyland
(4. Cubs - A-Rod would love it in Chicago.

They made a comment on ESPN about him playin 'till he's 45, and they'll be looking for a long term contract. I don't see anyone else investing hundreds of millions of dollars in a player but the Sox. Look at Dice-K and Drew, they're not afraid to waste their money. $100 says he has a Boston uniform on in February.

Ok, Arod doesn't need money any more and he knows that. Both the new york teams suck. Mets blew their division with amazing chances and yankees just suck, they can't make it out of the first round. he is probably fed up with New York. Boston or Chicago is where he is going

If the Baby Bears are serious about Winning and I believe they are,Chi-Town is a perfect fit for him. Why?you ask ,let me tell you because he has monster reg. seasons and always seems to end up short of the promised land. And he won't take all that abuse from Cub fans as they are used to being disappointed.

With his greedy pig of an agent (Scott Boras) he'll probably sign with the team that offers the most money...He's known as an agent who doesn't let his clients get involved too much in the decision making.
