People who do not know themselves or not secure in loving themselves will always see a door closed and not notice the one open. These people live in the past and cannot let go and go forward but they need to realize that there is always another door which lies behind it happiness. We as humans need to change our way of thinking and think "positive" and realize that our happiness depends upon ourselves and not others. When you can do that you can go back and open the closed doors and learn from them.

We tend to dwell on negatives and what happened, rather than oppertunity.

If you try to give a gift to someone, and they reject it, you might be saddened that they rejected your kindess. What you should be thinking though, is that it lets you give it to someone else who might accept it.
